State Park


Feeling adventurous? The Pedernales Falls State Park is less than 20 minutes from our campground. Bask in the beauty of the falls, swim in the river and hike on one of their many trails.

If you are looking for something a bit more relaxed, the Pedernales River Park is located 5 minutes away close to downtown Johnson City.

Dark Skies Stargazing


The Texas Hill country created a program called the Darker Skies to help promote stargazing in our state parks. Located In Johnson City, the Texas Park and Wildlife Department is hosting several different nights at Pedernales Falls State Park.

Pedernales Falls State Park is a quick 20 minutes away, so you can go and stargaze and then come back and relax at our yurts!
